While I was drawing this bed at Marlo, a woman approached me and told me about her job as a gallery director. She had a Chinese artist under her supervision, a very talented man who was part of a burgeoning art movement in China 20 years ago. One of her favorite pieces he made was of a woman in the lines of a tiger, which was in the lines of a great tree. He was killed by his brother-in-law over $10k. Now, she sells furniture in her bright red shoes.
